Otter Creek Golf Course Announces New Additions To Our Team
The team at Otter Creek Golf Course is very excited to announce new great additions to our staff.
Tim Davis joins us from Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis as our new full time PGA Head Golf Professional. Tim brings more than 30 years of experience in the golf industry from head pro to teaching, to running major events, leagues, fittings, sales and promotion. Tim will lead our golf operations with a single goal in mind – to ensure every player has a terrific overall experience at Otter Creek.
Otter Creek recently brought Mitchell Eickhoff on board as Golf Course Superintendent working with Brent Downs, Director of Agronomy to ensure our turf remains 1st class – carpet like fairways, fast greens, smooth, glistening bunkers and just the right amount of rough.
Mitchell most recently hails from Augusta National Golf Club as the Golf Course Superintendent. Yup. The Masters. Both he and Brent earned their turf management chops there.
We welcome both Tim and Mitchell to Otter Creek and to the community. These two new great hires join General Manager Wiley Umphress, lifelong Columbus resident and
former business owner, and Alomar Garcia, our new Food and Beverage Manager who is doing great things in the food & beverage and special events department.
More than ever, Otter Creek is a great place for golfers of all levels to play, to dine, and spend time with friends and family. We’re available to host your next private party, business meeting, and golf outing. And you don’t need to be a golfer to enjoy the most luscious sunset in Bartholomew County sitting on the deck with beverage in hand enjoying one of Alomar’s specialties.
